I am impressed by so many writers I know. Some create an excellent wine with their words. Some craft a stout and hearty ale. Rarely, one produces a brandy so fine it can sit on the shelf for a hundred years and only improve with age. By contrast, my writing is like plain, ordinary water, but I figure, everyone drinks water.

You’ll have to let my readers decide what I do. I have a hunch it fits the stout, hearty ale.
Long ago I was taught to not get fluffy with my words–just tell the story. Literary is the high end of this, I suppose, where you dig for a word no one has ever heard of. Since my books are aimed more toward romance, action and fantasy, unless I need to really get creative, I avoid it. So, I’m somewhere in the cheep wine and beer section.
